LangChain releases langchain-core 1.7.4 and flags end of Python 3.10 support
LangChain published langchain-core 1.7.4 on GitHub. Compared with 1.7.3, the patch includes the release commit and a fix in the Anthropic translator that stops message content from being mutated. The release notes also carry a deprecation warning: Python 3.10 will no longer be supported starting with langchain-core 1.8.0 and langchain 1.5.0, and the current minor versions are the last ones that work on it.
Why it matters
Anyone running LangChain on Python 3.10 has a limited window: the next minor releases drop that interpreter, so upgrade planning has to happen before 1.8.0 and 1.5.0 arrive. Projects using the Anthropic integration also get a fix for message content being altered in translation.
